HAYWARD, Calif. (August 26, 2009) — The associates of Dutra-Cerro-Graden, Inc. (DCG), a full service commercial broker and development company, have a true passion for helping other organizations and individuals succeed. DCG is committed to “Creating Communities of Valueâ„¢” in local communities. Company founders Dominic Dutra, Alan Cerro and Landis Graden were resolute in their desire to create a company that would create value for communities. Today, that vision has become a reality.

Since the company’s founding in 2005, DCG has dynamically grown to a team of eleven highly qualified and motivated professionals. Nicole Reams, a California licensed real estate broker, is an up-and-coming star in the commercial real estate industry. Like the company founders, she is dedicated to helping her local community thrive. Reams is actively involved in the Hayward Rotary Club and is a member of the Downtown Business Improvement Area Advisory Board in Hayward.

DCG’s newest member, Robert Goodwin, a California licensed real estate broker and attorney, is also energetically giving back to people and to communities. Previously Goodwin provided pro bono mediation for the Citizens Dispute Settlement Program of the Orange County (Florida) Bar Association and served as an adjunct instructor for the University of Phoenix. Today Goodwin continues to work with Health Presentations, Inc., a San Diego based non-profit, as a board director. In Redwood City, California, Goodwin has been recently accepted as a community engagement facilitator for Threshold 2009, a non-profit organization whose mission is to inform policy makers about the public opinion of housing in San Mateo County.

Company founders Dutra, Cerro and Graden set the standard when it comes to giving back to their communities. Landis Graden actively serves on the Vallejo Planning Commission and the Hayward Chamber of Commerce’s Latino Business Roundtable. He is board president of Northern California Community Development and former chair of the Hayward Economic Committee.

As a member of the Tri-Valley Business Council, Cerro helps to support residents living and working in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties through business development and networking. He plays an active role on the Livermore Chamber of Commerce Leadership Team and is a likely candidate for the Vice Presidency of the Washington Township Historical Society (Fremont, California area). He also heads up a volunteer team that helps single mothers, and the elderly, when they have to move their residence.

A true believer of paying it forward, Dutra served on the Fremont City Council from 2002 to 2006. During his time on the City Council, Dutra was active in serving the community by lending hand to localities, businesses and the youth. Today he is part of an after-school basketball program for underprivileged youth. Dutra displays a competitive, yet fun, attitude towards his youth basketball group and strives to be a positive role model for them.

Foundationally, DCG endeavors to bring revitalization, hope and healing to their clients and the communities they serve. Continuing to push the limits, DCG never stops working hard to make their relationships and communities a better place.
