HAYWARD, Calif. (July 27, 2009) – Dutra-Cerro-Graden, Inc. (DCG), a fast-growing commercial real estate and development firm focused on working with mission-based organizations, announced today the hiring of new associate Robert Goodwin. Company founders, Dominic Dutra, Alan Cerro, and Landis Graden, have plans of additional team expansion throughout 2009 to meet the growing needs of clients.
Goodwin brings to DCG extensive experience in the fields of real estate, law and public interest. A licensed broker, he spent the past five years representing a high-volume commercial buyer of vacant land in the acquisition of over 200 parcels comprising more than 2,000 acres, totaling more than $20 million in resale value.
An attorney, Goodwin served for ten years as legal counsel for a Florida nonprofit where he specialized in the practice of environmental and land use law, and regularly interacted with representatives of federal, state and local government regulatory agencies; legislators; public interest groups and business interests.
Dominic Dutra, DCG’s President and CEO, said, “Within the last six months, our organization has selectively hired experts in the real estate and development field to supplement our growing business demands, and we project to hire more industry experts before the year end. At the rate in which our business is growing, we are already anticipating new office space to support our additional team members.”
Despite the recent slowdown in the San Francisco Bay Area real estate market, DCG continues to expand its team and to capture additional market share.
