Dominic Dutra and Jerry Matranga will be partnering with Maureen Evans of School Services of California (SSC) and Dr. Dave Marken, Superintendent of Newark Unified School District, at the California School Boards Association (CSBA) Annual Education Conference and Trade Show on December 1, 2012. The joint presentation will provide participants with three to five of the most important things a school district should consider in selling or leasing property in the current economic environment. The objective of the workshop will be to discuss methods for maximizing the value of real property assets in the pursuit of a school district’s core mission to educate youth. Appropriately managing these assets should be something that regularly occurs in a school district. This workshop will walk through the steps a school district should consider in selling or leasing property in the current economic environment. This workshop will focus on issues ranging from board policies regarding maximizing resources and managing real property assets.
