Dutra-Cerro-Graden Supports Local Community Service Providers During the Holidays

As part of Dutra-Cerro-Graden’s Corporate Giving program, this holiday season, DCG proudly supported four Bay Area organizations dedicated to helping our local communities. We fulfilled holiday gift wish lists for several families through Brighter Beginnings, donated gift bags for women and children at the Emergency Shelter Program in Hayward, as well as supporting Shepherd’s Gate and One Child.

Brighter Beginnings is an organization that believes all children deseve a bright start and that all parents share similar desires, hopes and dreams for their families. Brighter Beginnings is a family-strengthening organization, working with client-families to promote the five proven factors that make it possible for families to flourish, including Parental Resilience, Children’s Social and Emotional Development, Support in Times of Need, and more.

The Emergency Shelter Program (ESP) in Hayward has been caring for battered and homeless women and children for over 40 years. The mission of Emergency Shelter Program is to provide shelter, support and education for women and children who are victims of domestic violence or homelessness.

Shepherd’s Gate has earned a reputation for rebuilding shattered lives. Since 1984, we have provided Christ-centered services and housing to over 10,000 battered and homeless women and children. We provide a safe haven for women and their children who are homeless because of abusive relationships, addictions, loss of financial support and other factors.

OneChild is dedicated to providing disadvantaged children troughout the Bay Area with new clothing and school supplies. The organization’s goal is to promote self-esteem in underprivileged children so they may appreciate their individual worth…one child at a time.
